Fresh figs, also known as Anjeer, are small to medium sized, with a bright green to yellowish coloured skin. Their flesh is pink blush to deep magenta with a mass of juicy seeds. They have honey like sweetness with fresh flavour and nuttiness from the numerous seeds. Our figs are high quality, finely packed figs delivered to you.
Almonds are of Indian Origin almonds and are sourced from certified organic farms. Straight from our farmer’s fields and into your pantry, almonds are a rich source of Omega-3, antioxidants, vitamins, calcium, iron and magnesium. One of the few nuts having the highest level of “good fat” that can lower cholesterol levels, almonds should be eaten every day.
Place the ripe ones in a single layer on a tray and refrigerate for 2-3 days. Quick tip: When they get soft and yield to the touch, consume them as they are fully ripe.
Feel the flavour of fresh figs along with the skin and seeds. Add them in oatmeal and salads or blend them into milkshakes, smoothies and fresh juices. You can also prepare sweets like barfi and halwa.
Badam
Almonds, like all nuts, contain fats that can go rancid over time. Store almonds in the pantry in containers.
If you do not use the almonds within two months put them in the refrigerator to keep fresh. Nuts have a bitter odor when they turn rancid.
